The Tau Psi Alumni Association was formed to provide a club operating for educational, pleasure, recreational and non-profitable purposes. It was incorporated to allow for holding title to property, collecting income there from and turning over the entire amount thereof, less expenses, to a tax-exempt organization, and to ensure that no part of the organization's earnings benefit any private person. The main goal was to form a solid base for the future of both the alumni and undergraduate organizations.

The City of Newark has seen many redevelopments over the past decade and is currently undergoing a rebuild around the NJIT campus. It is important to maintain a close relationship with our undergraduate organization, the university, and the city during this process. We believe a key to keeping up with the surrounding devlopmnents is maintaining a strong, tightly-knit alumni organization.

The Alumni Association is always looking for additional help with organizational tasks, and most important, fundraising.
