At the New Jersey Institute of Technology, there was a local fraternity called Phi Delta Mu.  This fraternity decided to broaden their horizon by becoming a national organization.

  On September 25, 1947, the Tau Psi chapter of TAU EPSILON PHI was born. Originally, the Tau Psi chapter lived in a house on Warren St.  As the fraternity expanded, so did the need for a bigger house. In 1962, TEP moved to its' current location of 281 MLK. Blvd. This house was then purchased by an alumni and given to us.

   Since the beginning of our chapter, there have been over 600 brothers cross the portals of TAU EPSILON PHI.
